Clifton Packaging, a leading UK flexible packaging manufacturer, now managed by Cartonpack Group, an A&M Capital company, has launched a free shuttle bus service for employees as part of its ongoing ESG and employee wellbeing initiatives. The new service operates eight trips a day, providing over 50 journey per week for approximately 50 employees, supporting a range of shift patterns across Clifton’s two sites in Leicester.
By encouraging shared transport, the initiative is helping to reduce individual car journeys, lower emissions, and ease local traffic congestion. The shuttle programme forms part of Clifton Packaging’s wider sustainability strategy, which also includes the company’s full transition to certified green energy from June 2025 onwards.
Shane D’Souza, CEO at Clifton Packaging, said: “Of all the initiatives we’ve introduced, this is the one that gives me the greatest sense of pride because it reflects exactly what we stand for as a business, combining sustainability with genuine support for our people. By providing a free and reliable commuting solution, we’re reducing emissions while making everyday life easier for our workforce.”
